BE has a Department of State contract in Washington, DC on which we provide system development and full spectrum IT support services. The project needs a Senior Business Analyst to support the development of Web-based applications in a .NET, MVC, Oracle, and Windows environment. Work in a team environment to support a software system which is undergoing a modernization and consolidation of multiple legacy systems into one modernized system.
The Business Analyst will work closely with stakeholders to solicit/refine/document requirements. Work with the technical staff to decompose requirements into User Stories in an Agile Scrum environment. The Business Analyst will also assist in translating requirements into test conditions and expected results for product, performance, and user acceptance testing (UAT) and participate in release testing on an as 'needed’ basis.
Job Responsibilities and/or Success Factors:
3+ years of leading requirements gathering discussions with different stakeholder groups
3 to 5 years of Requirements Documentation
5+ years of MS Office
3+ years of developing diagrams and drawings
3+ years of Requirements gathering and management (MS SharePoint, Team Foundation Server)
Developing User Stories in an Agile Scrum environment
Developing Test plans, test cases, and test scenarios
Developing full SDLC documentation
Clearance requirements: This position requires the candidates to have an active Secret clearance, an Interim clearance is good enough to start.
