The Senior Business Analyst will guide development initiatives for two enterprise-level Web-based applications that span a global user base. In this role, you can expect to work in a team environment to define and refine system requirements and design documentation from initial concept through deployment and transition to operations. The work is complex and varied in nature. You will work with internal experts on the client side and senior client staff to develop formal customer requirements, project planning, system design, and technical documentation. You will serve as the main conduit between the system stakeholders and the development team

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Elicit requirements through stakeholder facilitation sessions; requirements workshops; UML modeling, Use Case analysis and document analysis.
  • Support the customer in conducting analysis of data, products, tools, and integrated solutions. Develop presentations for users, managers and executives to help communicate this plan.
  • Translate business strategies, customer expectations, and requirements into detailed narratives, specifications, flowcharts, business and process flows.
  • Document the design for the site/application. This design shall include, at a minimum, site wireframes or mock-ups for each major use-case defined in the Requirements Analysis; a description of each data element (data type, size) and its source; interfaces with other systems; and report designs.
  • Prepare status and project reports for internal and external audiences.
  • Assist with defining risks, assumptions, and uncertainties as part of an overall risk assessment for new and existing systems.
  • Develop meeting agendas, take minutes, and run meetings.
  • Organize self and perform all duties on-time and in a detail-oriented fashion.
  • Participate in the system quality assurance reviews.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Active Top Secret Clearance
  • 5+ Years of experience, Requirements Gathering expertise, Business to Technical Translation capability.
  • 5+ Years of experience, Meeting with users, stakeholders, and subject matter experts to define and document business requirements.
  • 5+ Years of experience, Ability to work with the development community to identify and recommend implementation alternatives.
  • 5+ Years of experience, Leading focus groups
  • Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong analytic mind and well organized

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ years experience Agile SCRUM
  • 2+ years experience Atlassian JIRA
