    In this PeopleSoft Developer role you will develop software applications to support PeopleSoft O&M and Development, as well as, Modernization and Enhancement efforts for our client Department of State's mission-critical HR Bureau Personnel Management System.  This includes all phases of Software Development from analysis through deployment.

     

    You will be part of a team, collaborating with PeopleSoft Technical and Functional resources, to meet client needs. Your designs will support internal business requirements or external customers, ultimately serving a base of 32K customers.

     

    The ability to design and architect a software component, and write technical documentation, to include specifications are critical success factors for this role. The ideal candidate will be able to document and unit test all changes, and will possess knowledge of Configuration Management practices, packaging, and migration of PeopleSoft projects across various environments.  

     

    You will also have the opportunity to work with our BE CTO in a PeopleSoft Lab environment to support new technology initiatives.

    Responsibilities

    Primary Responsibilities include:

    • Support all technical aspects of PeopleSoft Federal HRMS v9.1
    • Support all technical aspects of a PeopleSoft Federal HRMS future upgrade from v9.1 to 9.2
    • Assist in the installation of PeopleSoft software, patched and configuration changes
    • Work closely with the functional resources to map functional design to technical design
    • Standardize quality assurance procedure for software
    • Manage User Requirements
    • Creation of Test Plans/Cases and Documentation of Test Results
    • Oversee testing and develop fixes

    Qualifications

    Required Qualifications:

    • Minimum Active Interim Secret clearance 
    • At least 3 years’ experience with each of the following: Peoplesoft Development HRMS; PeopleTools 8.X or Higher; Oracle 11g or Higher; PeopleSoft HCM 9.X or Higher
    • At least 3 years’ Development experience including at least 2 of the following: HRMS PeopleSoft 9.1 modules; Core HR Federal Product using Position Management; Job Profile Management; ePerformance; Base Benefits; Payroll Interface; Self-Service Functionality; Talent Acquisition Management
    • At least 3 years’ experience supporting technical Federal Government upgrade experience
    • At least 3 years’ experience with evaluation, development, and unit testing of reapplied custom code (PeopleSoft and external objects).

     

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • 5+ years’ of experience with Peoplesoft HRMS 8.x ,9.x or higher 
    • 5+ years’ of Peoplesoft HRMS experience
