    We are seeking a Technical Writer with familiarity with cloud infrastructure fundamentals and experience documenting internal engineering tools, technologies, and processes. Work closely with engineers and developers to build out internal documentation and information assurance deliverables towards achieving and maintaining Authority to Operation (ATO) for applicable systems.


    In this Technical Writer role, you can expect to utilize your exposure to information assurance (IA) documentation and processes to deliver lifecycle documentation and develop security artifacts (policies and procedures) which support various activities including but not limited to self-assessments, topology & network infrastructure development.  The Candidate Select will have experience in fast-paced, enterprise technology development environments.

    Key Responsibilities Include: 

    • Achieve and maintain Authority to Operation (ATO) for applicable systems through delivery of required IA documentation deliverables
    • Document core product specifications, standard operating procedures, use cases, requirements, and technical design
    • Work closely with engineers and developers to build out internal documentation (I.e. Create process flow, networking, and infrastructure diagrams
    • Develop and implement information assurance/security standards and procedures
    • Quickly capture and understand enterprise IA processes, SDLC governance, ATO process, and all applicable documentation requirements.  


    Required Qualifications:

    • Active Secret clearance
    • Bachelor's in Science
    • 3-5 years of related experience to include:
      • Experience developing SDLC, software/network engineering, and information assurance documentation
      • Understanding of Information Assurance and security management of systems, as well as IA policies and procedures
      • Knowledge of cloud infrastructure concepts and technologies, as well as custom application development within the Agile framework


    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP) or CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP)
