    Responsibilities

    • Assist in management/administration of all federal contracts and subcontracts including General Services Administration (GSA) Schedules, Government Wide Acquisition Contracts (GWACs), Indefinite Delivery/ Indefinite Quantity (IDIQs), and task orders from proposal stage to close out
    • Analyzes significant or unique contractual requirements, special provisions, and terms and conditions to ensure compliance with appropriate laws, regulations, and corporate policies for effective risk management
    • Advise business team members of contractual rights, obligations, and requirements and provide interpretation of terms and conditions
    • Manage internal contracts databases (i.e. CPARS, booking, tracking sheets, NDA/TA library, etc.)
    • Reviews solicitations and assist proposal team to develop specialized responses, which may include pricing and writing cost proposals
    • May prepare complex requests for proposals issued to subcontractors
    • Manages contract change control process
    • Assist the Director develop negotiation strategies and works with the Director to lead negotiation team on complex contractual issues including NDAs, TAs, and Subcontracts
    • Provides authoritative guidance to internal business teams on corporate goals and objectives relating to contract activity.
    • Focal point for all communication with law, finance and business team disciplines for resolution of contract issues and disputes
    • May assist in contract strategy regarding new business pursuits
    • Assists in identification, development and implementation of new contract policy and processes
    • May mentor and train less experienced professionals
    • May participate in development of less complex business alliances and partnering agreements
    • Have a general understanding of the business case and an appreciation of financial/analytical issues and profit and loss implications
    • Other duties, as assigned

    Qualifications

    •  4-6 years of experience in contracts, subcontracts, or related profession
    • Ability to draft and negotiate moderate to complex, non-routine contractual instruments including NDAs, TAs, Contracts, and Subcontracts
    • Have a general understanding of the business case and an appreciation of financial/analytical issues and profit and loss implications on all contracts documents and contract types (T&M, FFP, Cost Plus, Hybrid)
    • Working knowledge of corporate policies and procedures, coupled with ability to identify required improvement to established policies
    • Working knowledge of contracting concepts, FAR, DFARS, GSA, applicable public contract acquisition law and regulations
    • Strong analytical and communication skills
    • Good presentation, leadership and team-building skills
    • Use of independent judgment and creativity applied to resolution of contract issues
    • Excellent internal and external negotiation skills

     

    Minimum Education Required:
