    This role works with  a team of PeopleSoft Business analysts in serving the broad and unique needs to the DOS Foreign & Civil Service community. The individual will be highly relied upon by senior Federal leader’s requirements analysis and testing support.  The role is ideal for self starters and independent minded indivduals.  Position allows for supporting DOS Human Resources Offices and helping guide the direction of the office.

    Responsibilities

          Responsibilities Include:

    • Supports the existing PeopleSoft HMS operations & maintenance requirements and testing effort for a 9.x PeopleSoft Human Capital Management system.
    • Provide dunctional support  on PeopleSoft  O&M activities to include:
      • Requirements functional and business  Analysis
      • Providing constructive feedback to management on system design, testing, and the future of HR Applications at DOS.
    • Responsibilities include:
      • Meeting with users, stakeholders, and subject matter experts to define and document business requirements.
      • Assist with the development of future technology strategies to assist the client in becoming more efficient and better positioned for long-term success with respect to PeopleSoft testing.
    • Work closely with technical resources to map functional design to technical design. 
    • The successful candidate must have knowledge supporting Federal HCM PeopleSoft in the following areas:
      • Job Profile Management
      • Base Benefits
      • Custom Payroll Interface
      • Self-Service Functionality
      • Person Model Knowledge

    Qualifications

    Required skills and experience include:

    • Certification and detailed knowledge of PeopleSoft 8.x or higher
    • 2+ years’ experience as a functional team lead analyst position
    • 2+ of PeopleSoft HRMS Federal experience
    • 5+ years’ hands-on functional and/or technical experience using PeopleSoft HCM, experience with the Human Resource module
    • 3 years’ of previous experience in managing Public Sector PeopleSoft projects
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills

           Preferred Skills:

    • Strong communication and team-building skills are required for this position, as well as the ability to be a self-starter who can work with minimal direction.
    • 3+ years’ experience with PeopleSoft upgrade and integration.
    • Excellent analytical, written and verbal communication skills; ability to interpret a variety of technical and functional information.
    • Not afraid to roll up sleeves and support team in both requirements and testing activities.
    • 3+ years’ of experience with systems integration projects, specifically data interface projects with HR systems.
    • 5+ years’ experience in managing federal HR systems on a client site

    Clearance requirements: This position requires the candidates to have an active Secret clearance level or the ability to obtain an interim Secret clearance.
