    About the project:The Federal Bureau of Investigation’s (FBI) Resource Planning Office (RPO) has driven business innovation, managed enterprise processes, and provided data informed analyses to the FBI. In service of this mission, RPO has developed six enterprise IT systems, as well as a number of smaller IT-related capabilities, programs, and projects to address specific FBI enterprise management needs and challenges. These systems serve the FBI with integrated enterprise business intelligence reports and analytical capabilities, compensation and benefits analysis and management, process improvements and automation, and operational and intelligence program management.

    Responsibilities

    • Plan, design develop, enhance, operate, and/or maintain applications to support RPO programs
    • Create and support enhancements to improve performance, mitigate or minimize burdens on users, increase reliability and consistency, expand functionality, and deploy new capabilities
    • Integrate applications with other FBI systems and processes
    • Design, develop, enhance, operate and maintain IPMT 2.0, IPMT, and EST, to include but not limited to:
    • Use software and technologies as required, including but not limited to: Java EE, AngularJS, Angular, Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, JBoss EAP, Oracle RDBMS, Amazon WebServices, Microsoft Windows Server 2016
    • Other development activities as required that are described elsewhere in the Tasks section

    Qualifications

    Required:

    • Bachelor's Degree in a technical field
    • At least 1 year of experience developing with Java Platform Enterprise Edition (JEE) and Oracle Database Software
    • At least 1 year of experience in JAVA and .NET
    • Experience meeting with system owners to determine requirements for development
    • Experience collaborating with business analysts and other developers in order to accomplish the teams goals
    • Possess demonstrable knowledge on developing and updating reports
    • Possess demonstrable knowledge of reviewing code to identify and fix any bugs
    • Possess a demonstrable interest in continuing to build technical skillset

    Preferred:

    • Experience with Angular, Spring, Hibernate, JBoss EAP, Oracle RDBMS, Amazon WebServices,
