    The Senior Biller is responsible for leading and planning the billing operations finance and accounting department. The individual is responsible for designing, implementing and enforcing policies and procedures, as well as streamlining and automating effective billing processes across multiple contract types. The position will also be responsible for all accounts receivable administration and unbilled analysis and reconciliation.

    • Oversee and streamline billing and collections processes and procedures
    • Month-end closing of the billing group information
    • Plan and implement quality assurance for all processes
    • Special program/billing planning and implementation
    • Prepare government invoices, manage AR Aging, improve DSO, ensure a low unbilled. ions


    • Minimum 5+ years of experience preparing invoices using Deltek GCS or Costpoint along with Unanet experience. 
    • Proven ability to perform strategic planning and priority setting for a billing department
    • Proven track record for improving process efficiencies and solving problems
    • Strong leadership skills throughout and across the organization
    • Detail oriented with an Accounting background
    • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, and internal personal skills
    • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
    • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
    • Must have a solid understanding of operational/financial accounting concepts (GAAP, CAS, and FAR). 
    • Candidates in this role will be expected to work closely with Program Managers, Project Control, Finance, Accounting, and other functions.
    • Solid interpersonal skills and ability to work as a team


    Education: An Associate’s degree is required. BA/BS Degree in accounting/finance/business management preferred.
