    Position Requirements

    Buchanan & Edwards is seeking a highly skilled IDIQ Business Development Manager to support both Government Wide Acquisition Contracts (GWACs), including NIH CIO-SP3, and Agency Specific Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity Contracts, including Seaport Next Generation.  The ideal candidate must possess the ability to manage all aspects of these vehicles to include opportunity identification, teaming partner identification, opportunity capture, customer interface, and proposal development.  The BD Manager will work closely with other team members within the BE corporate staff and will spearhead strategies for the capture of new business. 



    • At least 7 years of progressive experience in capture and proposal development;
    • Experience in leading the capture of new business for CIO-SP3 and other IDIQ contracts of interest to BE;
    • Proven ability to develop an opportunity pipeline and lead the capture of new business;
    • Experience interacting with NITAAC and other key stakeholders for GWACs and Agency Specific IDIQs;
    • Ability to work closely with colleagues, and leadership to assess risk, develop win themes, identify potential teaming partners and competitors, develop call plans, and meet with customers;
    • Experience in the full life cycle of proposal development;
    • Ability to travel as required for customer meetings.
