    Buchanan & Edwards is seeking a talented Senior ETL Developer / Data Migration Expert to support an on premise to cloud data migration program at the National Archives and Record Administration (NARA) in College Park, MD.

    Position Requirements

    • Provide technical expertise on a project involving a substantial data migration effort
    • Act as onsite technical manager for all staff performing this project
    • Work with business development to develop technical solutions for bids whose scope includes data migration and Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) tasking
    • Provide hands on development and migration support and tasking

    Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Must Possess eight (8) years of relevant hands-on experience as a data migration expert for systems of similar size and scope, and must possess the following:
    • Experience with multi-application data migration design,
    • A minimum five (5) years of relevant experience leading teams of 3+ junior developers on complex application data migration work.
    • Hands-on experience in XML, JSON and compatible tools that deal with files in those formats.
    • Prior hands-on experience working in an agile development environment.
    • Prior experience on Federal IT projects of a similar size and scope
